anyway for those having insensitive lock/unlock buttons, u all can download a app that uses your proximity sensor as your unlock button and a touch screen icon that comes with it for the sleep buttons.

It's called WTN

Think you misunderstood my question.

I have already purchased the Nexus 4 through US playstore and I want to change the playstore(Apps) region on my phone to SG playstore.

I think it detects your region using your data/WiFi. While I was in Taiwan, my play store automatically detected my region and the top apps were all Chinese apps. when I came back, it automatically changed back to local rankings.

Just use it locally, it will switch back when it feels like it. Got one period of time mine also stuck in US mode, but a few days later it switched back for no reason.

Nope, that's how Whatsapp works. Their payment system hinges on the user's phone number, so you can be pretty sure there's no way around that.

accidentally hooted the KitKat update when on CM10.1, now unable to boot.

Is there anyway I can retrieve my TitaniumBackup files via recovery/bootloader?

I'm stuck on the Google logo, unable to boot into system.

USB and adb pull should be fine.

thanks, can I use this to pull?

[TOOLKIT] SKIPSOFT ANDROID TOOLKIT - NEXUS 4 V3.1.2 - Drivers, Root, Recovery + MORE - xda-developers

edit: I can't set USB debugging without booting into system T_T
You don't need to activate USB debugging. ADB pull commands will work fine in recovery.

I don't use toolkits, so I'm not sure that one works. But I'm pretty sure it has the tools inside to run adb pull via command prompt.

Basically u plug it in, boot to recovery.
run cmd.exe from windows, navigate to the folder where u installed the toolkit, where there is an adb.exe.
type in "adb devices", it should show you one device represented by a string of code which is connected in recovery mode. (disconnect all other android devices)
then just type in "adb pull /sdcard/TitaniumBackup" whereby all the TiBu files will be copied into the same directory where your adb.exe is.

Anyway, there are ways to flash back to a working condition without wiping your phone, so not sure why u are trying to retrieve TiBu files. You can reflash CM10.1 again, making sure you wipe to factory default (this does not clear what is in /sdcard). Or you can flash stock N4 image with the fastboot update command (same as above).

thanks alot for your input! I tried your method but didn't work :(

Nevertheless, I managed to get out of the loop using this method: Just installed the 4.4 update and my N4 won't go past that new boot animation. What can I do? : nexus4
