I think it's the wrong thread, I was wondering since I am using a new phone, will there be auto upgrade to faster speed since price plan is the same.

i dont think so, but i cant confirm so the best thing is to call and ask them. i do know 4G is not. must switch to the new low GB plans to get it.

I'm in US now. they deliver right to my house, so its faster. Remember to do a system update if you find that your phone doesnt have photosphere and stuff. :s12:

Oh ok. mine should be here friday or monday. then i can have my first impression.

H+ is HSPA+ which stands for Evolved High Speed Packet Access which is 3.5G technology where it supposed to achieve 42Mbit/s.

if anybody knows the answer please share...
whether your 3g mobile broadband speed limit depends on your account, or only your phone, or perhaps your sim card?

DCHSPA+ is 42mbps, which only starhub has now.

*up to* - real world day-to-day not likely will meet a 64QAM swee swee + channel bonding without burning a big hole in your capex and backhaul requirements I think.

As end user, if a DCHSPA+ can hit up a 21Mbps stably, then the marketing people how to aggressively push LTE.

If a HSPA+ can hit me up a reasonably stable 8-12Mbps then no need to push DCHSPA+ liao.

Early adopters feed the rollout.

Forget it, we won't even hit 10mbps here in SG, what more 42mbps. :(

On Suckhub, I consistently see less than 1mbps. What a joke.

Can anyone share why our 4G speeds are the equivalent to 3G speeds in the USA?

HSPA+ 42 data speed on Tmobile. - Android Forums at AndroidCentral.com

Is there nothing we as Singaporean mobile phone users can do? To complain to IDA or any government body? How can they call it 4G when it doesn't even come close to it's true speeds?
Nothing u can do. Consumer rights in SG is an utter disgrace.

I've been "whining" to Suckhub about 3G connection for years, and every time they basically say "We're going to improve in time, just wait", which is an outright lie. :)

Galaxy Nexus vs. Nexus 4 (Video)

The Nexus 4 is faster than the Galaxy Nexus in launching apps by about one second in every case

Web browsing performance is about equal, probably because the Nexus 4 uses Chrome, which still isn’t as fast as the stock Android browser

The display quality of the Nexus 4 is better than the Galaxy Nexus, but touch responsiveness is worse because of the use of in-cell display technology

The hardware of the Nexus 4 is more unique and handsome than the Galaxy Nexus, but the Galaxy Nexus seems to have a better in-hand feel thanks to better weighting and grippy textures
