warranty not confirmed from lg side?

Last time someone asked on LG SG FB page and they said yes they will honor warranty for imported sets.

BUT

that post/comment apparently been deleted liao so it seems that won't have warranty.

Not true leh... HTC offers international warranty for the Nexus One.
So I don't see why the other Nexus makers cannot offer international warranty...

I think what LG Singapore is trying to say is that for purchases before 25th december they will consider case by case bah.

Perhaps purchases = receipt/invoice date?

You can always wait for official launch of local sets which will cost up to $750.

Bought from Amazon Japan for around 50 dollars.
you have to find your own way to ship it back to Singapore.

Marketplace $620-$630 for 16gb sets ... doubtful that price will drop anytime soon cos now can't even order off playstore liao. IMO if you're willing to wait then wait a couple months, otherwise $620-$630 is still a very competitive price if compared to all the other Android flagships around.

anyone using xtremeguard sp? i must say i'm a bit disappointed with the material, it feels sticky. also, i may be doing it wrong but my phone looks dirty after i install it, even cleaning with micro fiber cloth doesn't help. on the positive note, the cut is almost perfect though.
