HAIZ. after i fked up the 1st screen protector, went all the way down to ps to get another one. the 2nd time is so much more ***** worse. air bubbles everywhere and cannot smooth out. i give up man srsly.

The trick is really make sure ur screen free of dust. Even 1 speck also cannot.

Paste it at a place where it is bright, such as a desk with a desk lamp to detect all dust specks.

Use Scotch tape to remove dust

Just did an manual update to 4.2.2 , the touch sensitivity is improved, keyboard tracing mode is working better , much faster word prediction.

I have yet to root my nexus 4 , as manual update with adb sideload is working fine

i give up man. $28 and half a day's time went down the drain just like this ARRGHHHH

get a wet sp, i find it easier to apply. if u f'd up, u can almost always peel off (careful not to stretch), soak in, and reapply.

The good thing about wet sp is that it's re-applicable and able to cover the whole screen, unlike dry one which couldn't cover the curved sides.

Maybe its just me but I don't really like the texture of wet sp, feels more rough than the dry one. Also since it covers the whole screen, changing case might peel it off by accident. (Shouldn't be a problem if using phone without case)

I bought 2 set of Xtreme guard full body kit (front + back sp) initially. Wont be using the extra set already after trying it out as i prefer the dry one. I can sell off the extra set (front + back) if anybody is interested. pm me, $8 self-collect at boon keng mrt. :s13:

Qoo10-Singapore - MP3 / Mobile / eBook -

Buy cheap SP from gmarket and practise lo, $1.50 each only.

Tips:
Apply it in the bathroom after you bath finish, the steam will allow for a dust free environment.
Use a credit card wrapped in linen free cloth to slide over the SP.
Use scotch tape to "lift" the SP if there's bubbles.

just order 3pcs matt. thks.

3 chances... heee.

Just got my 8GB Nexus 4 off of onephone. Delivery to doorstep and the guy was kind enough to let me check if everything's alright with the phone - inserting SIM card and testing to see if signal is okay, checking call quality, etc.

But now I'm having a slight problem. I just got my SIM card changed to micro SIM this afternoon because I was using a normal SIM previously. The phone now shows "Emergency Call" on the lockscreen under Singtel. However, I can still connect to the internet using 3G and can still make calls, send and receive text messages etc.

Anyone encountered this problem? I've already powered down the phone and re-inserting the SIM card to make sure there aren't any problems, but the "Emergency Call" notice still persists.
Emergency call below the Singtel on the lock screen will always be there. It is how it is designed. This is so that if you need yo make emergency calls a stranger need not unlock your phone to make an emergency call.
