if really $309 is really good deal. I purchase my nexus 4 8gb direct from google play, include all shipping and cc conversion charges, etc also about $303 sgd (as per billable credit card amount)

Just received the n4. Is there any particular kernel/rom that improves battery life? Maybe Franco kernel?

Just finished setting up my new phone. Loving the speed coming from a xperia sola. Stock is so good so I don't plan to root and flash a new rom anytime soon.

Update:
Regarding the previous cancelled purchase I made, where I purchased through Wallet with a SG cc (cgw address), funds were stuck in ledger account for a week+ after Google declined the card.
Decided to change my billing address to sg home address and funds were credited back to bank balance immediately.

You guys updated to 4.3? Read there were problems with battery life on stock unrooted.

You guys updated to 4.3? Read there were problems with battery life on stock unrooted.

I Updated mine to 4.3. Battery life ok, although worse than my old iphone 4. But again, I enabled all feature, (wifi, 3g, notifications). I also installed light flow, sms pop up, whatsapp and line notification popup, with vibrate on.

From full charge in the morning, it goes to about 20% by the time i'm going to sleep. I left it charged overnight.

Iphones have seriously good battery life, no android phones will be able to match it unless with an additional battery pack
