Updated to 4.3 today, batt life still alright.

But suddenly my notifications not showing up in status bar, settings button within drop down cant be pressed plus my home button is not working

Do a full factory reset and see?

Hmm, in that case I doubt it will arrive by Thursday, considering typical DHL delivery takes 4 days. Thanks though!

Anyone else interested in my plea for help? Here's my original post:

This is a long shot, but here goes: Does anybody have a Nexus 4 16GB arrived in Singapore, but not in a rush to use it?

Situation: I'm going overseas soon and I planned to bring the Nexus 4 over. However, due to slow shipping speeds, the phone will only arrive during/after my trip.

So, anybody want to "trade"? Essentially, allow me to have your set first, and I'll ship my set to you when it reaches Comgateway.

Yep, factory resetted and all is fine.
I guess its a certain app+data that I restored from Ti backup caused it

Guys i need help, My data for the month exceeded 500mb. I'm still on the 12GB plan.
My usual phone usage consist of hwz browsing, other similar forums browsing, social medias, and under 10 short youtube videos (never exceeding 5mins).
My phone only shows my usage for the month to be 2.6GB, and part of it is a 2.2GB google services eating up my data.
How is it possible i have exceeded 12GB?
Anyone can help or if you need any info i can provide. tia.

PS: Google services have already taken up 627MB alone just for 1 day (yesterday)...

I also kena, Google services eating 1.2 gb out of my 2gb data plan. Now left 100mb can only use WhatsApp and iris. And I have 2 more weeks to go fml

Did you guys install custom rom? 4.2 custom rom? The phone is trying to upgrade to 4.3, so it keeps downloading the large upgrade files over and over again. Many reports of this apparently.

I guess many is using custom ROMs here, you can Google on howto disable OTA uupdates, there is a link on xda.

That is if you flash updates using fastboot.

I used SG CC, US address for home,billing and delivery.
Success on the 3rd try.

Google shipping is really super Cui. Amazon shopping to the same location is faster.
