Don't flash the 4.3 OTA, flash liao stuck at the boot splash screen.

Flashed the stock 4.3 image using fastboot still the same, apparently many oothers have the same experience, downloading 4.2.2 Image now.

*I know my way around.

:s16::s16:

Edit: apparently the stock image did not flash the userdata partition, that's why cannot boot. Fixed it by manually flashing the userdata.img in fastboot and factory resetting in stock recovery.

All is ok now...:s13:

If I did not look through the command prompt, would not have known that the flash-all script did not flash the userdata.img...:s22:

I am not techie at all. Just lucky the OTA went through. Otherwise I wouldn't know what to do =:p

Hello fellow N4 users! I've been using my Nexus 4 for almost 5 days now and I am still in love with it! Absolutely worth every cent I spent for it!

How's your experience with it so far? :)

Good, but the screen color a bit washout compare to galaxy nexus

Agreed with the screen. Compared to my One X, it seems a bit yellowish.
Besides that the phone is absolutely smooth. Love it a lot.

Any good casing and SP to recommend?

Believe or not, the color is a software problem. Root and adjust gamma/color profiles and it looks very nice.....

im quite happy with my nexus 4

battery life is surprisingly steady (better than my original galaxy note)

one weird thing i noticed is, almost always, when i thought i charged it to 100 percent, when i unplugged my nexus 4, the battery goes straight to 95% or 96%

on all my samsung devices it will stay at 100 percent for awhile until i used it

even on my nexus 7 (2013 model) it stays at 100 percent for a veeery long time

anyone else encountered this funny behaviour?

I think it won't be cheap. The glass itself cost S$30 on ebay:
Only Glass Lens Housing Battery Back Cover Door For LG E960 Google Nexus 4 Mako | eBay

With workmanship, easily $80-100

If you want DIY, here's the instruction:

hais.. my mobile contract expiring next month. Maybe I should skip the repair and look forward to a new phone (maybe HTC One, or Moto X if can get in SG).. Really enjoyed everything about Nexus 4 though, superb quality phone, so much better than the overprice and overhyped iphone.

Anyone wanna hoot my 16gb Nexus 4? Cracked backglass tho! :s13:
