Just to share.

The output current of the charger that comes with our n5 is 1.2A, not 1A. Usual phone is 1A. If we use any cable other that lg cable, the charging process will be very slow.

I hv tried with the following cable:
1) Volare USB cable(abt 4 hrs)
2) oem USB cable(those colorful cheapo type)(charged for the whole night, only 50% full)

Anyone wants to know more, can pm me.

as shown in the pic, i have checked the highest amp i seen i only 1A, as the batt level goes higher, it will trickle charge at 200~300 ma.

so you can put a 2A charger it will still charge at 1A max

Thanks for the interest in my Diztronic casing MO, i've got some good news for everyone~

Previously i gave a rough price estimate of definitely below $15 for each casing.

And after discussion with the boss of Diztronic, Clay.
I've decided to use the fastest method of shipping, EMS
Difference is EMS is $10-$15 more than Priority Mail,
BUT, the speed difference is 6-10days of Priority Mail, VIA 3-5days of EMS.

And after dividing among the interest list i've got, that works out to an extra $0.50 per person only.

Alright, so pricing wise, using credit card rates, 1 : 1.29

After calculating shipping in, prices are as follows.

Does this mean that it makes no difference whether we put 1,1.2 or 2A adapter as the phone will only draw 1A power?

I would say the type of cable we used is impt. A lot of ip5 users feedback that the charging took very long when they are using oem lightning cable.

Those are usually not worth the trouble, unless you know of a brand that makes them that's good. Tried out 2 types for my GNex and N4, trashed both within minutes of putting them on.

haha my exp with iphone metal bumper (high grade element case fake from sim lim shop) tells me diff leh, was able to throw it around without regrets , dropped from shoulder heights , thrown it on my bed only for it to jump and land on the floor .

Found one ebay seller online, but looks like flimsy casing to me
