you mean Tenso took only 2 hours to verify your particulars after you send it in?

they haven't verify mine yet... :\ how do I check anyway? I was expecting an email from them..

Yeap, about 2 hours after I first registered at Tenso and submitted my IC details to them (PDF format), I got the following email:

This is Tenso.com
Thank you for submitting documentation as proof of your identity.

We have checked the documents you submitted and are happy to inform you that we have verified your application! You can now login to your My Page and complete payment for the international shipping and handling of any packages you may have at our warehouse.

Japanese law requires that we forward your first package to your verified address. After this first forwarded package arrives, you will be able to change the shipping address if you wish, to your work, school, or another address.

If you already have an item in our warehouse, please log in to complete payment for international shipping and handling. Otherwise, please feel free to begin shopping for items from Japan!

My us order just got cancelled. I used local ANZ credit card. It worked when I used it last year when I ordered the N4.

Gonna ordered again tonight using Amex virtual pay. Wis me luck.

I presume when registering google jp account, must use tenso address right? but what about payment methods? if use cc, wouldn't it not tally with our cc bank records?

My nexus 5 order consisting of 3 phones went through successfully with my POSB Go! Debit Mastercard.

Remember to set both billing and shipping address to Tenso's, and perhaps you might have to increase your spending limit (default is $1,000) of your card? :D

Yup, i set both address to Tenso's. Spending limit is $2000. The ~$2.50 charge from Google is actually still under ledger. I'm wondering if it's held by the bank.
Anyway, I just did a re-order. *fingers crossed*

Yeap. Billing and shipping address must be tenso's. Although it doesn't tally with our bank records, somehow it still goes through.

order from tenso last night , now status is pending and states leave warehouse @ 15th Nov anyone same as me, very excited haha,anyway i register for tenso account they didn`t ask me for verify particulars,however i have upload my IC copy to them. now no email reply from them ,it's any impact for the shipment?

My case is slightly different. Open an account with tensoJapan (Jshoppers) and proceed to place my order of n5 at google jp. Later, emailed tensoJapan my particular - NRIC & telco bill, BUT did not receive any email confirmation if my account is okay or not.

But, my item was successfully delivered to tensoJapan yesterday morning and I had made my payment yesterday night to have my item re-deliver to singapore.

BTW, tensoJapan dont collect GST. Guess GST will be collected by Singpost when they deliver the item to me :)

What? Mine still states leave warehouse @ 15th Nov

As in the previous pages, just keep ordering and cavelling, until that particular order gives an immediate email "receipt", then shipping is quite soon. The previous 2 times I ordered no emails from Google with status pending. So just try luck, cancel and reorder. Hope that helps. And hope it comes soon!

Had the same concerns as you as I also didnt receive any reply after submitting my particular. But anyway, I think they will get in touch with you once they receive your item (just like my case) :)

Ugh my first order which was declined by Google now has changed the status to pending and my bank is charged again for another order.

I suppose if I can't cancel the order, I have to let it go to anyone who's interested in it. It's a 16GB black variant.

Wah... u had scared me as my first order was also declined by google. Just checked and the order is still there - status Decline and waiting for me to fix the problem.

I believe the error is caused for those who try using DBS/POSB to make the payment, but didnt know DBS/POSB had auto disable overseas purchases since 1 Oct.

Yeah been wondering about that since the order successfully went through. Somehow they take our cc information which we input into their site and then their address becomes a valid billing address of our cc.
There's a part of me slightly worried about security here ...

True, but few bros encountered issues when making payment using DBS/POSB CC. Though it can be resolved by informing the bank, but it is a hassle. For my case, I swapped to my UOB CC and the payment went thru w/o any issue. DBS did call me up later if I have any issue with my overseas payment, I told them dont bother :s13:
