Been using my friend's Nexus 5 for a day and woww it's the best phone ever not a single game can lag the phone and the LTE works perfect! First batch perfect no defects at all. Those who are still skeptical to buy can take this post as a greenlight as if anyone was skeptical in the first place. Batt life so far awesome.

Your set no QC issues doesn't automatically mean the remaining units in the first batch won't have problems.

This kind of thing will depend on every individual's luck.

Made a wrong choice for vPost to ship back my Nexus 5. My package was delivered early morning yesterday but until now I have not receive anything from vPost yet. Somemore it says they will only send out the package in 5-8 business days after payment made. That's really long time to wait.

Check your 'Promotions' tab if you using gmail. My friend's email from vpost got sent there.

That's why I gave up vpost as I find their service very slow. Now I use the following for my overseas purchases

US - CGW
Japan - tenso Japan

Ah then I'm not sure liao. I can only provide advice once my package reaches Tenso.

I'll do a proper screenshot and walkthrough for future buyers of the Nexus 5 once mine reaches Tenso and I successfully get it to be sent to me.

Those of you who have already - I have a v dumb question to ask.

Is there any way to set lock screen and home screen wallpapers differently??? I can only find an option to change 'wallpaper', which changes both at the same time. Previous Galaxy S4 and all iPhones / iPads can do this.

Ordered from Google JP at 1030pm last night. Store said leaves warehouse 8 Nov but confirmation email said 11 Nov.
It was pending all the way until the morning when I checked repeatedly
Suddenly at 930am it shipped today!
On its way to vpost Japan.
Paid using UOB card
Billing and shipping address set to vpost Japan.

does your Google Wallet reflect pending? They might be reviewing your account. If that's the case, may take a few days.
