Yeah, it will take awhile to adjust. Switching from s4....

Seems like past 1 or 2 days some people's order got through and some didn't so it should be safe to assume that Google Japan did not block Tenso/vPost etc.. Maybe just stricter checks on Credit Card addresses etc.. Since Tenso uses Japan cc, hope Tenso Buying Service don't let me down.

Here's my review after 2 hours with this phone, coming from a Samsung S3.

  • Phone is significantly faster when installing/uninstalling apps and loading times.
  • Screen is great, colours are paler than on my S3 but that's to be expected since Samsung oversaturates the colours.
  • Build quality is fine for me, not a fan of the loose buttons though. But since the S3 also has them it doesn't bother me much. I really like the soft touch rubber back, huge improvement for me over the S3's slippery gloss.
  • The black rim around the camera is slightly magnetic.
  • My unit came with the IMEI number stuck to the back of the phone. It's an absolute eyesore for me and I will be removing it soon.
  • Speaker volume is fine.
  • Soft keys are awesome, but when the app doesn't code for it properly (like NBA2k13) it's a problem.

is there any disadvantages to wireless charging other than the slower charging?

Heat.. Wireless charging generates a fair bit of heat, which is the number one enemy of batteries.

So if your environment is hot in the first place, you might not want to go with wireless charging.. If's it a office environment with aircon, then not so bad.

colleague say will be pretty hot like talking on the phone for hours or playing some graphics intensive game, he's using LG Optimus G. I tried using his LG wireless charging pad and it works

So far, about 30mins into playing around with the service menu, i managed to cause my phone to have problems connecting to 3G (i'm on 3G only plan), it will connect to 3G, then after that lose connection, then reconnect and so on. However I just restarted the phone and set the mode to 3G only and it seems to have solved the problem. However, entering the screen to select 3G only will not show which option is selected

Will take a picture when i'm back home. Suddenly my note is unhappy with me using it to take pictures of the Nexus 5. Every shot about the Nexus 5 I take will not be saved/shown in gallery :(

Ok la, can overlook :s13: Maybe coz its due to my itchy hands, now no drop in network connections liao :s13: anyway the LTE/3G/2G menu is a known bug that is heavily affecting the users with JPN telcos (no 3G only plans for them)

Will observe my Gf's N5 in a few days time and compare.

wakao stock ROM, I wana customise the quick settings drop down menu also canot
