Check your PC recognized the device as N5 or not, control panel>>device manager, if not, find the correct drivers and install. And of course, the below.

Yep done the obvious. Checked USB debugging mode and untucked MTP. Was told to use the launch manager and removed the Nexus 5 drivers. Seemed peculiar though. Then installed their Universal drivers provided. Still couldn't work.

i didn't untick MTP, i just used it as normal+USB debugging also ok

Given up hope of getting it myself. Will be getting from the resellers within the next few days

I purchased mine from Korea and it is reflected showing that it is manufactured in Korea.

Or is it my browser? I already opened incognito mode.

Can you also paste the respond given by the site for an invalid serial? Thanks.

Got it authenticated. It is Genuine :D I had to use VPN to access the site. Don't ask me why :s11:
