hi guys
anyone having problem connection their otg thumbdrive to the phone?
i'm using this which worked effortlessly with my SGS3 but the nexus 5 doesnt even detect it

its not enabled in stock kernel unlike Samsung which it was enabled..

so you have to either root + StickMount

or buy paid app:

Nexus Media Importer or u can try the free version to test first before deciding to buy..

i think you need the dev to update their apps to 4.4 compatible...

it doesnt require an app to run
just plug and read using stock file explorer on SGS3

you have to see if it is the verification charge of 200yen(will be cancelled) or the full phone price, if the latter, you are safe.

I have emailed the play store support to ask about why they have been cancelling my orders.
I got a reply and specially highlighted in bold that if you do not live in a country from which Devices may be purchased, Google reserve the right to reject the order.

When i setup the new google account, i was connected to VPN, and the country i selected was Japan.
Mobile number i have no choice but to enter my SG number.

Each order is shipped to Tenso.

My two possible guess that how they deem that I am not living in Japan is through my mobile number? Or is that Tenso address is really black listed, hence rejecting my orders.

Anyone uses sg mobile number during google account setup and successully got your phone shipped?

have u ever tried using china's Qire? even though i'm connected to china vpn and even though whatsmyip shows i'm in china, they still tell me my country is not supported.

Walked around earlier and saw the shops selling 16gb nexus 5 at hkd 3898. Checked hk play store and its only selling hkd 31xx.

Any idea how i can get it at 31xx within the next few days? I don't mind buying a few more if anyone wants... probably need to give me a small token for the trouble to bring the phones back.
