Don't bother. Just go to any mobile shop (Mongkok?) and you can purchase it outright on the spot.

Try to haggle if you can. Lol

locally ezlink doesn't ensure support and compatibility as it is not locally released. However, I don't think it has any problem with it.

I can check ezlink balance with the app, but not top up.
Your ezlink card must be the newer type supporting NFC.
Old cards are not supported.

Root and install Greenify.
Flash custom kernel if really still CMI.
