Battery seems about the same for me after the update as well. Probably we might see more optimisations in the next update. But then again, the batt is only 2,300mah. There's only so much that tank can do...

download the OTA zip.. and just follow the guide use adb command (you may need to install Android SDK to get the adb, or just d/l from the site)

Just installed Purity for the first time in a long long time, been using SlimKat all this while.

Honestly, if you're using any of these two ROMs, you're doing it right.

Thanks for that, but I'm too lazy to turn on the comp, download the stuff and plug in the phone. Haha gonna just sit back and wait.

Battery life mainly is kernel side, just find a kernel that has better CPU scheduling.

Well... I've never enjoyed stock, so i've never had stock on my phone, except for the first few hours when i got my phone

idk why franco has never worked well enough for me, like faux i can get roughly 5hours SOT, but franco can barely scrape 4 on a good day.

1. is it still worth it to get it now?
2. 16gb or 32gb more value for money?
3. I am not a root pro, probably will use it stock, is it good as a stock phone?

Depends on how much you have to pay for it, 32gb more value for me but depends on your usage and it is good enough as a stock phone.

Of course the larger the more value for money. Anyway, the alot of news mentioned new nexus is coming or android silver.

Nexus 6 might not even exists...

The hersay is that the nexus program for mobile phone will be axed for the android sliver program...

Android sliver program might not be good news to singapore users as many current gpe phones don't make it out of usa (unless you are fine with functionally only 3g lte phones)

I got the N5 slightly less than 2 months ago. If anything, stock Android is even simpler to use than the various customised OEMs out there.
