I would say wait for the next Nexus. Its coming already... Probably before the year ends... but if you need a phone right now, the nexus 5 is still very capable. in fact more capable than a lot of phones on the market.

-Phone endless boot loop, cannot even get into Recovery, it will reboot no matter what.
-Used logcat, found out the Power/Sleep button is constantly activated.

Anyone knows what steps to take next?

I don't have to have anything to do with the new Nexus if I don't like what I see. Am fine & dandy with my N5. Oh, that doesn't classify me as a blind fanboy who has to get everything new from the Nexus line does it?
