couldnt wait and decided to flash the factory image. pls note that it wipes data..

i follow instruction from here.

https://developers.google.com/android/nexus/images

How to: Flash Nexus 5 Factory Images | Droid Life

Running Into The Dreaded "missing system.img" Error Flashing Android 5.0 Factory Images? Here's How To Get Around It

**edited**

anyonw using 16gb has flashed factory image and wipe the phone fully? pls let me know ur stock total space. mine is 12.5gb.. not sure if it is correct or wrong.

you can download the OTA version which does not wipe your data. I used that to sideload my N5, no problems encountered.

I just saw this excellent review of Lollipop on the Nexus 5 which I would like to share here with those who have missed it (or those who are like me - have not sideloaded Android 5 and still waiting for the OTA!)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pEDQ1z1-PvU

Lollipop is indeed very impressive and will give my Nexus 5 a new lease of life. I think I will save my $1K and not upgrade to the Nexus 6 (the size frightens me!).

In my case, the price frightens me. :p

Anyone on M1 having 3G connection issues? Mine keeps disconnecting and reconnecting.

I'm on the old 3G non-LTE plan. I've already turned off my 4G connection in settings.

EDIT: Yea this only happened after lollipop

Yeah I'm on Lollipop now and the UI is really gooood.

Project Volta doesn't seem to work though as my Nexus 5 is still only able to squeeze 3hrs max when I'm primarily on WiFi. Doesn't seem to be different than when on Kit Kat.

It is officially released. Just that you have to wait for your phone to receive the OTA. Maybe days or even weeks before your turn. Those who cant wait have to do it manually.
