My Nexus 5 is approaching 2 yrs old and I'm still loving it (waiting for the 2015 Nexus 5 that is expected to launch in coming months). I intend to keep this masterpiece, so, today I ordered 2 pcs of BL-T9 batteries from AliExpress.

How do you know these are legit batteries and not knock offs?

My intention is to keep my N5 - not as my primary device, but as a backup, as well as to keep as a souvenir. The spare battery is about $12 a piece; so, doesn't matter if they are not genuine. I will change to the new battery when my current battery is fast approaching the end of life. Will try DIY - following replacements instructions that can be found in the Internet.

Would love to find out how these batteries are. I've had thoughts about getting one myself, but online horror stories of their quality held me back.

I hope the new Nexus will come with Notification LED! I prefer that to the Ambient Display... Haha

Would there be any indication that it will be officially be released here in Singapore?

realistically speaking i will say 90% got chance it will eventually be launched in SG ...

but based on historically experience (N7 II & N6) , it will be released about more than 6 months after official US release

if you are a "pure android user"/ Nexus lover, chances, you will bite the bullet and get overseas set instead
