hmm just ordered the phone from AUS, but my old gmail account got locked heh anyone else got this issue? and does anyone know if 418.95 AUD is the final price or will there be even more hidden charges (including only shipping within AUD from warehouse to local AUD address, not talking about forwarding etc)

i am having the same problem with you, using hotspot, clear cache but unable to see the page and it says device not available in your country although hotspot IP is an australia IP already.

Swjg or someone emailed sg lg earlier, pages back, the staff mentioned the co did not mentioned anything about bringing in locally.

For n4 local sets, the rrp was sgd668. And it was brought in only after 1 yr later from launch iirc.

That should be around S$680.

If above that, then we are really the most expensive in the world for no reason already.

US is selling cheapest at US$399, after CIF should be around $$560.

Those ordering from Japan at 44800 JPY should be around S$650, not worth at all imo.

IMO the best is wait for SG launch

I ordered abit late, the earliest should arrive 2 weeks from now if no hiccups. It is the same handset as the ones in UK, AUS, just different charger.

That is if they are not pricing us above EUR which has hefty VAT and already the most expensive in the world.

$650 for a JP phone without warranty, tbh , is not really a good buy.

For my case, i might settle with USA set since i'm not using 4G.

Now i think most places need to wait anyway

I just made a call to Google Singapore (again) on the report by TODAY.

Google Singapore had not made that statement, and currently has no time line as to when the Nexus 5 will be available in Singapore.
