Yes. But it doesn't support Singapore's LTE band unless you don't mind.
How did you cancel? The cancel button is gone and when I email them they say cannot cancel...
Whoever called to Google JP to settle the order review, could you please let me know which number did you call? Thanks!
Anyone can teach me how to log on to the Aussie Play Store please?
If you are looking to buy N5, Aust playstore is out of stock for all variants.
Yes I am, but I can wait. Can teach me if you know how?
Since there are no stocks now and you can wait, I suggest you read through this thread, there are already tons of info on how to VPN into either Jap or Aust playstore to place your order.
got number ah?
give me also leh lol

No. I called this one (+81) 0120-950-065. Cannot. Thanks anyway.
Hey folks. I really wanna get the 32GB Nexus 5 from japan. I have been trying to use the VPN softether and can;t seem to get it to work to connect to the JAPAN google nexus 5 website.
I have downloaded the Softether VPN client and did the guide. But everytime i do it, my IP is still in Singapore.
I am currently using my notebook connected to the internet through WIFI. Do i need to change my wifi settings to get it to work?
Like i checked using the Command Prompt but I will always be stuck with my original IP Address.
I am very noob at this and would greatly appreciate any help/advice that can be given.
Or if anyone happened to order 2, i don't mind gettin the second piece and sharing the shipping charges etc.
Thanks for reading.
click "Device purchases on Google Play (orders, returns, technical support)" can la, but is not immediate.. have to wait.. like email..
Nit wanting to be pouring cold water on this but I do agree with what you've said. However, who knows what screwed up legislation there might be that directs phones to be SIM locked? But logic yes it shouldn't be locked. But until someone has bought it there and confirmed it's unlocked, we're still assuming it.
I'm hoping to get one N5 purchased by a Japanese friend but he warned me on such. He's an iPhone user so he'd not be sure about Google policies.

Remember to always drop the leading 0 before calling in to Japan from abroad. So even though all Japanese landline numbers have 10 digits and all Japanese mobile numbers have 11 digits, you might still dial only 9 or 10 digits, after exit and country codes, to make the actual call.
