afaik, the bulk of the "extra" cost will be the GST. If you have someone bringing it into SG in person, then you save the 7%.

I think you can just safely bring in and sell. Definitely people will get it if it's below $600 for 16gb and $660 for 32gb. just my 2 cents

The most economical way I have found so far is around AUD20. But it doesn't have tracking and insurance.

Yup, Japan will still be cheaper and faster. That's why all order from Japan! Not to mention, Australia plugs looks so weird :x

As long as the power rating is the same can liao. See the output, If 1A just use 1A. Generally, lower rating is ok, but change slower. Higher rating will charge faster but might make ur circuit burn.

Yes, the risk is on you. I am just a consumer like all of you and I am not able to provide warranty etc. That is a risk I'm taking myself so yeah.

Anyway, I've confirmed 10 sets with my contact in Australia. Do PM me now to confirm. Disclaimer is that I am NOT liable for damage, etc. Warranty is to be covered by yourself.

Tentatively its $560/$620 for 16GB/32GB if all goes to plan. Message me now and I will reserve sets for you, I will only ask for deposit when prices are confirmed. Date of arrival is BEFORE CHRISTMAS.

I used VPN to access the Google store and created a new Google account and added in my CC details and the jshoppers address. Now there is a message that says there is a technical error.

Is this normal guys? Or did I screw up somewhere? Now even if I deleted my CC in google wallet, the message pops up still.

Btw, anyone know roughly how to calculate the gst one need to pay?

Is it 7%*declared value (Jshoppers help me to declare the value based on the google invoice) or 7% * (cost of phone + ems charges)?
