Read from the reviews there is defect with the case.. Apparently the buttons doesnt line up. Quite hesitate to buy, otherwise it looks great!

yup i understand that too, but i read that from 11 Nov onwards they would have the proper parts ready (from SPIGEN themselves). hoping they don't send out defective cases and fix all their parts by the time i order haha. the Neo Hybrid champagne gold looks really good too though..

just switched from iphone5 yest, but i used android for a long while before that.
iphone 5 camera is still better, but i prefer the bigger screen, without sacrificing usability. i still type with 2 hands,
display is very sharp with natural colors.
i like the plastic soft touch back

Dear Bros,

Those of you who have already gotten the device on your hands, hows the build quality? and any defects that's noteworthy?

Of course, being a n4 user myself, i dont expect like iphone 's built quality. Just would like to seek your opinions for those who got the first few batches of devices.

The buttons are nice to press, but they wiggle in their sockets.

The soft touch back is awesome, but I hope there won't be any durability issues after a few months.

Speaker position is improved by putting it at the bottom, but still flawed because my palm covers it while gaming.

Overall the phone feels a lot more premium than my previous phone (Samsung S3).

My first nexus device, overall i would say pretty good. Several defects like camera and video recording audio might spoil your experience (doesn't affect me because i don't use that 2 much). Using the white at the moment and I would say the black glossy sides doesn't really affect me. I expected it to bug me a lot but its pretty good so far, the back doesn't really worry me also.

If you'd want i could let you try hands on for a few days

have to agree, the N5 feels a lot less plasticky than the S3. S4 also feels quite plasticky, except for the metal sides

I don't really care much about it as I think I have used the recording function of my phones like perhaps 5 times in my entire life.

But still, I did a test just now and there IS a constant buzz throughout the entire video recording.

I love the soft keys as well but I wish they will rotate to the bottom on landscape like how they do on the Nexus 7.

Hooray! My n5 has arrived in vpost singapore! Their tracking is really weird.

I received 2 emails a minute apart from each other saying (1) my package was shipped today morning; (2) my package has arrived.

dun get too happy yet.. my got two emails on monday 11 nov and the vpost tracking show "out for delivery". already out for delivery 2 days liao still no news.
