Can try to RMA. Or ask your friend to drop it a few more times to see whether that will fix the problem? You never know. Lol.

Just got my Nexus 5. Looking at getting a matte case. So far I've seen 3 that look pretty good:

Diztronic Matte Back Black Flexible TPU Case
Spigen Google Nexus 5 Case Slim
However, they don't seem to ship internationally from Amazon. Does anyone know how to get these cases, or similar cases?

Yes is it.
But when you pull down the quick settings tile. It will show arrows there.

Just curious, anyone using battery saver app for nexus 5..? just wanna see who use what and see opinions of people who used a few before.. I am stock ROM and faux kernel and easy battery saver.. because with faux my battery still can't last me the whole day.. So I am trying this easy battery saver now.. Hope it is good..

Wa sad. Most likely the digitizer was damaged, while the gorilla glass 3 did it's job lol. Will cost quite a bit

you mean the LCD panel below the glass digitizer is the component that translates your touches to input

I'm thinking it might be a connector problem, if the LCD is ok
