The nexus charger states "9W 1.8A AC Adaptor (For use in the United States and Canada only)"
Anyone know if this will work in SG?

we need to see the input voltage and frequency, if its 100-240V, 50-60Hz like below, means can work in SG

True. My guess is yes, except it was only tested in NA so need to state that to cover their behind in case the thing blows up.

anyway is fine, Li-Ion has no charge memory

IMO use the default charging wall charger is the best. don't usb charge.

Ignoring shipping, the cost price is still cheaper in Japan isn't it?
For 16 GB version, 39800 yen is 494.20 sgd.
HK costs close to 520 sgd.

Add shipping is another story so I'm no sure.

P.S Spot rates used in calculation.

You're right, my mistake :(

Even if I used the previous exchange rate of 1 JPY to 0.013 SGD (its about 0.012 SGD now), JP set is still slightly cheaper (don't include GST/CC tax etc)

I suppose Shipping will be much faster if buying from HK since the warehouse is in Hong Kong itself right?

We are talking about 1 day difference? I rather wait a bit and save $20. But to each his own. :D

About 3-4 days difference

Day 1 ship out
Day 2-3 Reach Tenso/Jshoppers/Vpost
Day 3/4 forwarder Notifies you, you choose to ship out
Day 4/5 Your item ships out to you
