These are some of the questions that i asked myself before change to Nexus:

Do you need interchangeable battery?
Do you prefer expandable storage?
Do you dislike the OS found on Note 3? (e.g. bloatware)
Do you prefer handset with local warranty?

1. Don't need interchangeable battery since I have a power bank.
2. I prefer but I'm guessing 32gb would suffice with movies, dramas and anime videos. Haha.
3. Yes. Too much bloatware.
4. Doesn't really matter as long as the build quality is good.

You just answered your own question of whether you should change to the N5, yes you want the Nexus 5, and the sacrifices you make in exchange for the N5 is negligible to you, so why not?

But I seen some bad comments about the display and button issues. Is the problem fixed already?

I dun recall much display issues mentioned by users here? if you are referring to xda then i am not too sure.. did not really follow there.

For button, rattling issues is it? some users did brought up here but most are fine with it. For me, i dun even know if my button are rattling or as I did not even shake it to test since I started to use the phone. Not a deal breaker to me.

Coming from galaxy nexus >>> N4 >>> N5 now, due to no home button and quite a number of reported cases of faulty on/off button after prolonged usage, I do make it a point to minimise usage on the on/off button, using power toggle and gravity screen apps.

I do think that for the majority of the Nexus 5 screens are calibrated to be a little more on the warm side but that isn't a problem with a screen and is purely subjective. Just depends whether you prefer a warm or cool screen.

To see what I mean, just try it out with your desktop monitor. Switch the colour temperature between 6500k and 9300k. The screen of the Nexus 5 tends a little bit towards that of 6500k.

The small audio outlets and shaky power button was fixed in the 311k batch, only the 310k batch is plagued.

So yes it's fixed as of now. Doesnt mean all 310k batch will fail or go nuts btw.

I actually contacted Google about this. Try these steps and it'll work.

We use the billing address of your default payment instrument in Google Wallet to help determine your home country for accessing the Play Store. Our collection of content can vary by country, so your view of the Play Store may differ from what others are seeing when you travel outside of the country listed on your default payment method's billing address.

If you're having issues viewing your intended country's Play Store and would like to change your default payment method or update an existing billing address in Google Wallet, please use the following steps:

2) Add a new card or change your default payment instrument to one with a billing address located inside your desired country

3) Open the Play Store and navigate to any item available for download

6) Re-open the Play Store. You should now see the Play Store that matches your default payment instrument's billing country.

I've tried it but it doesn't work. Even made a purchase as suggested by others in the source. Still doesn't work. I keep getting the Japan play store. Mine is the Japan set and bought using my google account on Japanese play store using a Japan vpn.

Hi i just bought one from you not not ago. Good service, however just want to ask what does the SB means? I know that jap sets had JA written beside on the box.

Just see your phone box. The bottom of the white inner box (the cover) where all your serial (first 3 digit will tell you the batch), model (D820/D821) and imei is, will show. Also will tell you if yours is a JP, AU, or whatever region set.

Otherwise the really crazy big rounabout method will be going into your bootloader and seeing the rev from there. But why I wonder.
