It's a motorola thing. Moto X also the same. When using N6 or Moto X and the phone is on the desk, the sound of the vibration is louder than the sound notification.

My Nexus 6 vibrate so loud even when it's not on a surface... Haha

And no.. On stock ROM, there's no way to adjust the vibration intensity.....

triple confirm the power on and off button is fully working because i think the earlier batches got what is suppose as flimsy button

Just updated to 5.1 and rooted to Chroma and Franco kernel, feels totally different in speed like from a 1.3 to 2.4 litre engine!

Love the layers and dpi settings too and ability to do expanded desktop mode enables a larger usable screen size.

does anyone use double tap to wake instead? the link i found are for kit kat and not for lollipop 5.1

i scared that my power button might fail anytime since my phone is more than 1years old..

Dt2w draws too much power on n5. Cannot really use.

Using a red colour myself. Look to a brighter red colour. U might have to get a second hand one.hard to find a brand new nexus 5 now

Not sure where you can still find one, but i had one and don't think it looks like normal orange colour. More like day glow orange? or really really bright red? lol.

Thanks for the replies. I guess bright red is the best way to describe it based from the pic below.

I would like to stay with the Nexus line because of the pure android experience. N6 is too big for my hands so I'm looking for a Red N5 used or bnew. Time to scour all the online merchant for one!

My N5 cannot even power on liao

Mine also just died last night. can't power on regardless which power button combinations is pressed. when charging, battery feels extra warm than normal. now dont know if power button or battery has died. only 14 months old

Happened to mine last time when first bought for only 2 months. Not sure what actually happened since managed to send back to Google Jap for one to one exchange since it's under warranty. Can try asking BreakFixNow at Bugis for diagnostic.

cant be repaired as no spare part, power IC chip failure. :-(

damn unlucky. love all nexus phone but now dont trust LG quality. first n4 had faulty screen with dead sensor area so had to do RMA. Cost $80 to post back to US. 2nd n4 also have intermittent power button issues and now n5 died. have to use back 3 y.o. samsung galaxy nexus which is still working so what does that say about LG quality?

it is lucky or unlucky thing...my nexus 5 is still working so far and its already 1yr plus ...sorry to hear that about yours...
