anyone got lobang to replace the screen? my screen crack until jialat jialat.

Buy a replacement from aliexpress. Chassis +LCD Assembly version is easier to repair. The colour calibration of the LCD is different from the original one. From what I've seen so far, there are LCDs that are plastic instead of glass.

Just put a tempered glass protector over it to protect it from scratches, though the replacement LCD may not be completely "flat and even", u may get slight bubbling even with a quality tempered glass.

They work perfectly fine though

Speaking of battery, does anyone know where can I get a replacement battery and tools?

It's about $50 - $65 bucks getting it replaced at a shop. Thought I could just DIY.

Any of you feel that after updating to android m, user interface wise becomes slower by a slight bit....

I feel like although everything mostly look the same, besides the added features, reaction wise it's a biiiiit slow.... Maybe it's just me hmmmm

Personally, I bought this replacement battery off eBay. Haven't run into any issues so far. Battery life is the same as an unexpended original battery. It's not difficult to replace. You only need something like a guitar pick or knife to pry the back cover and have a small phillip screwdriver.

The only difference I noticed was this:
-Feels more dense than the original battery, slightly.No problem fitting it.
-When unpacked, LG logo was doodled off with permanent marker (can use alcohol to erase)
-Battery part no. etc stamped on the silver side indicates its a TSDI, could be reference to Samsung TSDI, possibly Samsung cells.
-When using CPUID, u can see that the voltage range is 3.5 (esp when low bat)-4.2mV. Whereas the original was stuck at 4.1mV.


Overall, I did put the phone through deep discharge cycles to 0 batt (unintended) and it hasn't failed at all (still completely operational) as opposed to some imitation batteries that completely die out if you do this. Common sense battery care still applies, try not to do deep discharge cycles or let it charge overnight.

I did hit low 3Hrs of SOT on 0-50 brightness so far with 3G always on with Android M already.

Yes, I sideloaded the OTA image myself, not through the online OTA update from About Phone. No issue. Update was not that big, so was quite fast. Shouldn't take that long.

Updated over the weekend. Only took around half an hour. The main improvement for me is the battery life, standby time significantly improved!
