Project sales? How much savings you have to withstand until you are totally wiped out. It takes damn long for a showroom sale commission to reach you. And you have to take your queue to serve.

Anyway, not everyone is cut out to be agent. For female, either you have looks/figure, or you are damn good at customer service and ideas.

For guys, not sociable and dull/unmotivated/lazy type can eat grass already.

project sales depends on how much contacts you have and how much groundwork you are willing to do if you do not have as much contacts in the beginning. I am sure Huttons will teach you well in project sales. All the best in your new company. You will make it if you are really hungry enough for business. it is how much you want it. Very often, agents including me as well think market is bad, but how come every month you still see the top producers closing? and seriously clocking in 6 figures at times.or high 5 figures regularly? there are always buyers and sellers out there good or bad times. In fact when market is so-called more quiet due to holidays and Christmas, i still can close some cases while quite alot of people are already in holiday mood. It is really up to you to find out how much effort you really want to put in.

but i really cnnt take stress any more. last yr got health/death threat. Dr ask me dun stress as stress can be contributing factor to cancer.

The general principle I believe is who does the agent represent. If the agent is representing the landlord, then the landlord pays the commission, and vice versa.

Say if you advertise that you have a room to let. An agent comes to you and say he has a tenant, if there is a deal by right he should be collecting commission from his client, the tenant.

in fact for hdb shld re-negotiate down too, now that prices have gone up from last time.
