I hope mi4i still cheap enough when it gets here..

I also hope there will be a 32gb variant but doesn't look like it's gonna happen. Lol
Maybe it will be priced at the same price of the Mi Pad, $299, since Xiaomi priced the Mi 4i as the same pricing of the Mi Pad.

Xiaomi only has 8GB, 16GB and 64GB storage configuration for its devices. :)

maybe better to post in mi3 thread

but anyway, the beauty of android means you can try other keyboards, e.g. swiftkey, google keyboard, etc.

did a quick google search for "mi3 sensitive screen", one link below
http://en.miui.com/thread-22750-1-1.html

Thanks for the link... It looks like a software problem more than a hardware, too much trouble to back up n restore, may b just wait for next firmware upgrade.

Does anyone know if this phone is SIM-locked if you buy it from China?
Also, if I intend to buy it off the Chinese Xiaomi site, which telecom provider should I pick? (There is 移動,聯通,電信)I heard that the different telecom providers support different 4g/3g bands?

Thanks!

But the Mi 4i supports dual 4G SIM, 64bit Octa-core processor, quite futureproof though. :)

By the time 64bit processing becomes any useful, it's time to upgrade to another phone. Not going to happen in the near future, and with the way Android works, it's not even going to be visible, the difference between 64 and 32 bit processing.

联通 is the one suitable for singapore

singapore lte is fdd-lte band 3 & band 7

note: china sets will have no warranty support in singapore, also no google play [need to install separately]; handphone contains battery, so need to ship using "sensitive air" channel if you are buying online

Just be aware there are too many fake Mi out there which are hard to tell.

Hmm just have to know what to identify and where you can buy Mi Products that are authorized by Xiaomi themselves. :)

As what the other brother said, when cones to XM, do not trust anyone except Mi official site and major telcos.

I have seen too many got screwed by buying from those so called authorized sources.
