I think I found an issue on my XS!
I left it charging with the LiveDock the whole night as it's the first time.
Before I slept, it was like 80%. When I wake up, it's only 44% and is still being charged!!
Fishy. Gonna monitor it for a while and will get it replaced if it still happens!

So far so good... LiveDock + wireless KB (cum) track-pad is a good combo! I can use and control the phone totally from the KB alone. :s7:

Other than that, I haven't tried out my XS much, leaving it charged the whole night. :s8:

i assume based on the live dock and wireless kb.

we can use the XS connected to the TV like a normal computer ?

in the sense that we can youtube, surfnet, FB etc? :s12:

how about game playing?

im so envioussssss!!

my Arc is only like.... 6 months old?

sob sob. not financially viable for me to get rid of it and buy the S now.

today i went to IT show, wah lan i saw the starhub queue......

first u hv a long queue outside just to register and get ur queue number right? then later go into the other room to wait again for ur number to be flashed? i told my fren forget it, lets go, cos i wanted him to get the new phone.

then i went upstairs to the 6 range booth and tried the phone abit.

i noticed that the rear of the phone is rubberized?

i've got a qn for u guys,

rubber, like many other pdts, mouse with rubber grip, or keyboard with a rubber strip at the bottom.....

will absorb our hands oily and perspiration one right? then after awhile, u wont get the nice clean rubbery feel anymore? no?

i like the rubber at the rear, cos it can mean that i can do w/o a casing. i use casing for phones, those with a rough surface, so u get a good grip and wont drop the phone, instead of those flat surface casings which might slip off ur palm, or if u dont put a casing, ur phone might get greasy and slip and drop too....

so with this rubber grip at the back, dont need to put casing liao, can flash ur pretty phone. but im worried that the rubber part might absorb oil?

Looks like u are new to xperia s... XS has anti stain back cover which is nano coating. If u are interested what is nano coating, can check online videos at youtube.
I have 1 nice video so the cover is really POWERFUL, go check it out.

it still says not available for my country.

Also im not able to connect to my home wireless with 20/40 mode turned on. Anyone else got similar issue? Using asus n56. After switching it to 20 only then solve le.

The nano coating prevents liquids like water and coffee from getting absorbed (as if like water-proof effect), so high-density liquid like oil won't even have a chance.

If you are not convinced by what I said, you can always go Youtube to search for videos regarding anti-stain coatings. Or flip through about 2 weeks' worth of posts here to watch the video I posted before.

Those buying from outside other than the telcos, the quick charge is also included inside.

Yes, man! It's almost like a normal computer with KB and track-pad (with a mouse pointer on the screen)! It's good especially when there is a lot of typing involved.

Although I haven't tried a lot of games, my gut feeling tells me it should have no problem playing the latest games available as it is one of the phones high-end specs to-date.

:)
