Anyways, when a more elegant root solution has been released (the ones that do not involve unlocking the bootloader, those with export sets can ignore this and go root), root and bloat freeze everything you don't use and/or are not system critical

This should result in a better battery life and faster overall system response

Of course, I recommend waiting for the root solution of/for ICS instead, coming soon to your XS in Q2

Not revealing specific dates yet though but... *walks around with an almost complete build of ICS on his arc S*

For now, the method of taking a screenshot = Vol.Down + Power Button
We'll implement the screenshot feature back to the power button being held down eventually

Battery life depends on how u actually use it. If u have live wallpaper, lots of widget and lots of running apps. obviously it will drain fast.

lol everyone can have their opinion and this is juz my opinion... Haha. I'm a Sony fan, truly one.. In fact I'm anti apple... Tats y I bought xperia s like not long after its out.. Looks good on paper.. Perhaps it's juz my set, auto rebooted several times... Apps blackout after load (simple stuff like sms and settings) I noe the sample shows good low light video but bro, I own a set here... Doesn't show on my set... So, low light picture taking, apple did a fairly great job, ny xperia s took yellowish photo... Exmor™ R only for videos? And specs wise, batt 1750 -> 1700 and ram 1gb -> 600+mb... Y is tat so? Bravia engine, maybe it's awesome but due to batt prob, I'm not even using.. Waste of the tech... The quick launch. . Isn't really quick, I'm sorry... Maybe it's juz my set but I dun think it's worth spending so much for this piece of Sony.

U consider urself as a heavy user and it lasts u 3/4 day?! I consider myself as a moderate user and I'm charging 3 times a day.. Lols
Display takes up min 70% of batt but there are already nth left to save ┐('～`)┌ lol

It's the display eating up my batt.... What's the use of getting a smart phone when there's so many limitation? Brightness 5%, less widget, off GPS, of WiFi, off Bluetooth, dun synchronize +++++ might as well get use back my army non cam phone

Sony fake their specs alot... Batt, ram... Bravia engine off to save batt, camera see nth in bark room... Is it only my set or wat? Remember arc taking photo in a black box? My xperia s took nth in a black room.. ( Exmor R sensor)

i too have none of these issues and ive been able to survive one whole day with constant whats apping and occassional hwz surfing and fb and games.

btw ive OWNED a SGS II, Galaxy Note, Tab7.7, and now xperia s. so i can consider myself quite lao jiao when it comes to using android.

the marriage between the tab 7.7 for my reading needs and the xperia s for my phone needs is perfect.

overall if i didnt have a tab7.7 id go with the note, size and battery and the tech in it is good.

want accuracy of color? snappy interface? DECENT (not fantastic) battery life??? Xperia S anyday.
