screen-adjuster-18-1.jpg

This app really helps solve the yellowish/green color tint &ver contrast problem on the Galaxy SII. Contrast -35, brightness 35, blue 20

download *screen adjuster apk* from playstore

this won't help to solve the yellowish/green color tint. The tint is not just yellowish. Is like one spot the screen got problem like that.

He ight be encoding video background. Who knows :s13:

Amyway don't think the yellow tint problem can be resolved with that utility as it's one patch and not the whole screen. The most reduce a bit. At least Sony let us change. If one can live with it then no need to change lah. To me it's really quite minor. You keep staring at it of course feel pak cek...

my singtel contract is up. currently using a small samsung galaxy gio. considering htc one x and xperia s. very impressed with both handphones. if xperia s had ICS, it would be great.

Yes, Xperia S running on Gingerbread is fully maximised for the firmware for user's experience so the web browsing and youtube video, it is faster than even Quad Core phone like HTC One X.

hi guys... just got my xperia S but have some queries and not too sure where i can post them:

- OT abit but my whatsapp doesn't seem to display the pictures of contacts and can only display the android logo fella. any idea?

- the top contacts widget: i believe it screens who u call and your facebook before selecting the contacts. is there any way i can manually select the contacts to be included?

thoughts so far after a few days of usage

- the home button placement can be quite a b**** as i find myself hitting it during typing of msgs (while attempting to hit the spacebar)

- battery life... seems to come down pretty quick, as quick as my S2. but then again, its only the 3rd day of usage and 2 charge cycles.

- the swipe pattern lock: why is there a 'slide to unlock' after the pattern lockscreen. totally unecessary man.

- settings menu not as in depth as the s2. s2 comes with a nifty feature where you can lock n track your phone if its lost. sadly no such feature built in for xperia s.

but overall, very satisfied with the phone. interface looks amazing. waaay neater n more pleasant to look at than samsung's touchwiz

(1) My Whatsapp contact photos show up fine. Have you done the auto-sync under Settings -> Accounts and sync?

(2) Add the Top Contacts widget, click on the icon on the top right to access the Settings menu, choose Contacts and then tick the ones you want to show up only.

Battery life will improve over time. The battery needs to "burn in". And do ensure you have the latest build version (6.0.A.3.73) as it improves battery life.

There are plenty of 3rd party apps that can help to lock and track your phone.
