ok, first time using smartphone ma...

i dunno :s13:

Don't expect the battery can last like Nok*** 5110 or maybe 8310 lah. Those can easily last half a week with heavy usage. :D

Smartphone with dualcore if can last a day with single charge Dao Chio liao.

Anyway XS battery consider pretty awesome liao. And the phone is really stable I would say.

Anybody tried it? Does it suck alot more battery?
Unfortunately it's only limited to white light.. if only we can zhng it and make it have more colors :D

I installed it this morning and still testing it out. Don't think it will suck a lot more battery. It works only for SMS and missed call notifications.

Uh... My XS drains like 10% an hour. Is this normal? WiFi is on, and light-medium usage (whatsapp, draw something, some web browsing).

Also, the sync icon (two circular arrows) is always on my status bar. Anybody know why?

Sorry, noob to smartphones :s13:

It's certainly not normal to drain 10% an hour on light-medium usage. That constant syncing is probably the main cause. I suggest u check what is doing all this syncing and stop it if possible. You can do so by going to the settings and check on "Accounts & sync".

How do I check what's doing the syncing? Is it the widgets? Like weather widget?

How long have you had your phone? If you only just got the phone, the battery needs a couple of weeks to "burn in".

And go to Settings -> Accounts & Sync and disable "Activate auto-sync".

Only had it for 3 days. My Activate auto-sync feature is off, but Background data traffic is enabled. Disabling it doesn't seem to get rid of the sync icon.

Xperia S comes with PlayStation Certified.

Anyone knows how to use it or where to download Playstation games?

local Nozomis don't have such app and function cos our country is not supported. Yet.

Just like 2 years ago when Rachael didn't have the 'Paid' option in the Market app because back then Singapore was not one of the countries that could buy apps.

Hmm with what you are doing I'd consider 10% an hour is already quite good.

And yes, it's normal. If you turn your data off, You'll notice only at most 10% gone after 1 day (without using =X)

So there isn't any problem with the battery. It's just your transition to the smartphone live. XD
