coz i itchy hand LOL. other than that it's been pretty good, quite fast and all. i ditched stock launcher as soon as i got ics so cant tell much. only prob now i have in nova is dont have the shortcut for wireless, silent mode etc

No matter how they improved, it is still AMOLED and the colour will never be 100% NTSC standards, human body colour tone will never be natural or white will never be white but bluish white, this will be the fact as well.

You can put the same photo under the two screen on both phones and you can see the difference, no matter how you adjust the setting on your AMOLED phone, it will never look the same as the one in Xperia models with Mobile Bravia Engine.

Until Sony Use a IPS panel display, i will skip Sony model for now. XS is using a TN display, hence it has awful display angles. Good or bad is up to each. I don't find it a issue. But a TN will be a TN and there is no way a TN can display as good as a IPS. Putting the XS and oneX side by side, in term of sharpness, XS wins hand down. In term of color, the oneX trash XS.

I know i am contradicting myself but XS to me still have one of the best display ard now. But there are other phones with have better color reproduction than XS. True fact here.

Think you only either choose slide or password lock. You cannot have both slide with password lock.

For me ICS quite unstable and buggy... Been using for like 5 days le, so far crashed 1 time and had to manually restart a few times cause apps not working correctly. Few problems i encountered:

FM Radio
FM radio sometimes not working properly. So far happened only twice. Plug in the headset, turn on radio, audio sounds like dieing chipmunks =/ Had to restart phone to resolve issue.

Gallery/Albums
More of a preference thingie... Since i store all my photo folders under DCIM to save space, some folders not appearing correctly as albums. Must put under different folder in memory card like "..\pcitures\ALBUMNAME"

Facebook Timeline
This weird problem that causes timeline to disconnect my facebook account on WIFI. To replicate this..
1. Connect through wifi
2. View albums, online, some random facebook photos
3. refresh timeline
4. Notification will show unable to authenticate with facebook.
5. Check your timeline accounts, facebook account will show disconnected.

What i miss from GB:
The music TrackID music search shortcut button in the radio that's now hidden under menu =(
The option to silence ur phone from lock screen.
The battery life.. Slightly worse then GB. Was able to last alot longer. Though not that bad la, not as bad as the 1st initial GB firmware.

Overall am loving the ICS update. Hope Sony fixes these issues soon.

Battery life will take a couple of weeks to stabilize, since the upgrade also resulted in a change in kernel.

updated my m1 set to ICS. reset and fresh install everything.
what i like this ICS update is able to uninstall certain preinstalled prog such as officesuite and disable other never used prog like fb, it's the next best thing to root.
currently using apex launcher, go sms, dolphin browser.
overall impression good except having some issues with widgetlocker.

1. easy wake mode now a hit and miss thing. sometimes volume key can wake the phone sometimes cannot, sometimes volume down cannot wake screen but volume up can. no such issue on GB.
2. during phone call, widgetlocker will appear, so now got to unlock before i can end call. previously on GB was end call then widgetlocker appear.
so forgo widgetlocker for now and use back default lockscreen.

not into fb and using phone to play music so can't comment on those issues.
wifi: previously my home signal full bar but now is fluctuating
google play updates: there were times downloads will stop there (just showing downloading) and took a long time before continuing.
default lockscreen: notifications of sms not cleared even though i had open the sms via notification screen, need to unlock and relock then disappear. also the camera shortcut is redundant.

one big bug for my phone now is the camera button.
dunno if anyone having same problem.
screen lock, press camera button-> quick launch activated.
exit camera, screen lock, press camera button-> instead of launching the camera, screen unlocked instead and camera refused to switch on, need to use camera shortcut.
update: found out that the prob occur when i had 2 other camera apps (HDR n vignette) installed, even though had set the default for phone camera. so dunno what really went wrong here.
