Press and hold on the input-field (e.g. ur message box). A context menu would pop up showing 2 options: 1) Edit Text, 2) Input method.

Choose Input Method and you'll be able to select the Chinese keyboard. Go play around the other additional settings for the Chinese keyboard and you should be able to get some Chinese characters out.

I uncheck location service.. anything to do with location, i will off it. Usually, i will disable all location service when i use android.

under Messaging, Settings, Push Settings, Allow push messages

really? i use whatsapp quite a lot just today and the batt level dropped from 100% to 78% in 1hr 45mins !

Yes. I dont know if it helps but Im using phone at 40% brightness, switch on data/wifi only when I need it. And yes, whatsapp drains a lot of battery juice.

for me around 12 -18 hrs.

now battery on 5hr 30 min at 66%

now at 7hr 45 min at 61%.

i switched off the allow back ground traffic.

improves alot as can see above.

Me on m1.. everytime it will pop up a notification telling my location. Something like cell broadcast.. how to switch off.. very very irritating..

Brother, some of my customers who are M1 users also encounter such issue while some never encounter so it was very funny.

So far tested, you just have to tick on the option on the Use Wi-Fi for location under Location Settings.

I think thats cell info display,

show your location via which cell tower nearest to u.

Some dumbphones also have this feature.

In sg only M1 have this feature.

You try the method I posted above. Tick on the option on use WiFi to find location in location settings.

How long does the quick charge take? I read that it should charge up to 80% in 30 mins, but my phone takes a lot longer than that! I use the charger that came with the phone and plug into wall socket.

the default 1500mA quick charger will take 2 hours for full charge

Try 6range shops at bishan or amk. Get used to it, this is a fruity island.
