Most probably. After ICS, my xs heats up faster than gingerbread. Too much heat is not good for hardware in long run.

The instructions can be rather daunting but just follow them step-by-step and you should be fine.

Oh, I was out of Singapore during that week. No wonder the notification came so late to my handset...



How do you guys find ICS so far?

I noticed something as I sometimes use my XS with an external keyboard. With GB, the WINDOWS key on the keyboard served as the HOME button. Now, it is no longer the case. It's somewhat inconvenient...

It's a fact now Apple are using Samsung display and SoC.

Apple retina display are made by samsung. Their Ax chipset are made by Samsung.

I have 3 problems after updating to ICS,

1) The google search widget no longer can search contacts.
2) Previously when on earphone listening to music or radio when a message comes in I could hear it through the earphone. But not I can't anymore.
3) Radio sometimes sounds weird and only a reset can fix the problem.

the radio issue is quite bad for me as well....after reset it works fine, but after switching off the radio and turn it on, will need to reset phone again...

Does it require a long time to update the software to ICS?
Been trying to do the update but fail.
Initially is software driver cannot be installed.
Then is the installing software driver icon keep turning, showing window updates but it never move to update in the PC companion after like 15 min.

Not very long. The downloading and installing of the file should not take more than 15mins.
