Hydrogen OS

I just received my OP3 but it came with hydrogen OS, anyone know how to flash to Oxygen OS? Thanks!:s12:

received and tried the border casing.. but i fell for the wood casing so i am letting it go.. see if anyone is interested i can cut it cheap for fellow forumers

axon 7 review seem good , now is price factor only , not avail locally yet ?

btw all review i have seen is based on 399 usd , to them its cheap but exchange rate price a lot diff , 600 plus sgd consider mid-range pricing ?

Be careful when you buy zte. they do not carry parts and may want you to pay for replacement if the damage is not covered by warranty. I had to buy my own LCD display screen for my 5 mth old phone when it was dropped and the screen cracked.

Obviously gotta pay for the screen replacement if user dropped and cracked the screen. No manufacturers cover this, unless otherwise specified, e.g., Huawei/HTC US. Invalid example. Unless the example is the mainboard failed due to manufacturing defect, e.g., LG G4 bootloop issue, and manufacturer refused to replace the part.

Happy to pay for the screen and repairs. Maybe I wasn't clear - they do not carry any parts, period. If any warranty is applicable, the entire phone must be changed one to one. If any part of the phone is damaged, even if it is under warranty of manufacturer's fault, they do not do any repairs locally, this was informed by the ZTE customer service team. So I will not touch any ZTE phones anymore based on this.

going off topic, so back to the OP3. :)

It's not really off topic. Speaking of no repair, OnePlus practices the same. They don't repair, but do one-to-one exchange, so not seeing any issue here as long as manufacturer honours the warranty they are suppose to cover. I believe this practice is more practical for such companies. I believe in this case, you shouldn't touch OP phones as well.

Bro BB I don't agree with you. ZTE has a sufficiently invested presence here, with sales,marketing and cs support. They have an office at Lorong Chuan and indicated customer service which should support any local purchase - especially since this was sold thru a telco, that means it is a mainstream purchase to general public. if warranty is applied, why no stock of the ZTE model for at least 2 months? Whether ZTE will finally honour its warranty, I will never know. On my second try, I tried calling their published online cust service no for 1 whole day before giving up and doing own repairs instead, after no one picked up the call.

As for buying OP3, I am aware of my risks. I come from using Nexus 5, so I know almost no warranty is applicable, I am ok with that. Although OnePlus is an offshoot of Oppo, it does not enjoy the presence and cust support like Oppo, so my expectations are managed as such. anyway, should the screen break for OP3, I know where and how to get it this time .... :)
