Can't use DBS iBanking. More apps are now checking if devices are rooted or not.

Anyway to circumvent?

Install xposed and the root hide module. Works for now.

From hydrogen os? If so, download e firmware using pc and copy e zip file itself to e root folder of e phone storage. Then go to the updater and choose local upgrade and select the zip file..
Note that after flashing and booting for e 1st time, power off e fone and hold vol down while powering on to load recovery. Select eng then wipe data and cache and reset system setting

Is a office lobby / mini shopping mall. If you take train exit and walk to office lobby 1. The lady or guy will come out of the office and wait for you at the entrance. If you drive same thing, park and proceed to outside office lobby 1 entrance.

cheers

Oh, so no need to go up to their office? Means that have to SMS them when we're there so that they'll come down. I'm also collecting later today.

Questions on OP3T

Good Day bros in this thread,

I have been reading quite a few pages on common qns on the OP3T / OP3.. but some answers are scattered all over the place and Im hoping someone could kindly ans my questions below, this might also help future buyers as well as they can see all the answers in one place.

Im currently using IP7 but am planning to sell it to get OP3T instead for the battery life and fast charging, however I have quite a few clarifications to ask:

1) The service center seems to have closed down and even OP3 SG FB page is inactive, shipping overseas for warranty support(China Set) doesnt seem to be a good option either, it is safe to assume we will always get non-warrantied sets and have to settle for 3rd party repair shops to fix our problems?

2) For A3003 / A3010, i understand they are the UK / China set respectively, w/ 3pin plug and 2 pin plug respectively. Both from what i garner from Frequency check seems to support the same frequency bands in SG, however I've read some posts about users not getting VOLte and 4G+, can anyone kindly guide me in this matter as I have yet to decide on which model I should get. Also, for the China set since its 2pin plug, will a travel adaptor affect its charging speed in any way?

3) If i were to use a standard USB-C cable to charge w/ a normal power brick (e.g samsungs or apple) or with a powerbank (e.g xiaomi powerbank will the charging speed drastically decrease? Is a quality type-c usb cable necessary in this case to improve charging speeds?

4) Any particularly reputable dealers to recommend locally? Am looking to self-collect @ a store if possible for convinience sake and hope to get it from a reputable shop, even if it means i spend $10-$20 more than normal. Is there an additional charge for pre-flashed OOS, or is it simple enough to flash H2OS myself, Im quite worried for this as Im using a macbook currently.

5) Any news on the 128GB model or local telco avalilability of the phone itself? (couldnt find any updates relating to this online)

Sorry for the long post, but I hope someone could help me ans these qns as I am quite torn between waiting for the S8 or just going w/ OP3T for its value for $$ proposition.

I hope the questions for this post would serve to help other potential Oneplus buyers too!

Cheers:):):)

1) Does not matter if you purchase export set. The local warranty only applies to local set sold via Lazada (I believe there is no local set for OP3T yet). There is no repair for OnePlus phones. OnePlus only provides 1 to 1 exchange for a faulty set. If it is a local OP3 set, there is a local number you can call to arrange for the exchange, but you will need to go through OnePlus support first. In short, this is not a phone for you if you worry about warranty/service level.

2) Already discussed numerous times if you have read past posts as you claimed. Travel adaptor can be used.
Another quote for you:

TD-SCDMA : Bands 34/39

3) Dash charge only works with either stock charger/OPPO charger + stock cable. Some claimed some cables may work with dash charge.

4) Easy, just need to transfer the zip file to phone and flash.

5) Tough luck on telco availability. Not the phone for you if you prefer to get via telco.

Just to share my Oneplus local warranty experience here.

Last month, my OP3 suddenly had an issue connecting to the mobile network (2G/3G/4G), can only connect to Wifi. I tried a factory reset and re-flashed the firmware before mailing OP support. 1st tried the US support, but they informed me to contact local SG support. Local SG support via email is non-existent. Finally decided to contact Lazada, and was told to head down to Gadget World @ Jurong Point. All these correspondences took me more than 2 weeks, and I had to ask them (Gadget World) on the repair status of my phone, after the 5th working day of me sending in the phone.

Total time for me from start to end = close to 1 month.

Lesson learnt: If you have a local warranty set, just bring it to Gadget World @ Jurong Point, don't bother emailing them :s8:
