Download Opera VPN from play store, it's free and unlimited. I used it to get instant OTA update also.

i did that....and when OTA finished downloading, the installation failed.

Ty there! Any chance I can get the second page as well? Where it mentions LTE CA Matrix..

The xda forum would be a good place to start asking as there are abundance of folks who had rooted. And furthermore a group had successfully unlocked additional LTE bands which were lacking in OP3 China and NA variants (see https://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-3/how-to/guide-unlock-additional-lte-bands-t3519563) therefore someone with the right expertise over there will certainly have higher chance of resolving this 4G+ issue.

I know My plan is to take these SSes over to XDA later on to enlist the help of their expertise! As I read CA issues widely vary over countries, like in the US they are able to CA but it causes their connection speed to dip; ours is an inability at all to aggregate..

To be honest I'm not even on 4G myself cuz I retained my old 12gb plan, but hopefully can get this sorted out for all the A3010 owners in SG so we don't feel the need to buy the A3003 sets and spend extra

In my experience so far, when charging and playing valiant force, it was 47. Just charging alone, it is 41. And gaming alone is 42~43. Idle is 35, surfing is 40. Compared to mine, urs are way lower. I did see it reaches >80, not sure under wat condition. Like scary le.

Charging only and at 41 is pretty high. I'm currently charging with my Anker multi port charger + xiaomi USB C cable and its only 31(non air con room)

Anyone can rec any good usb c cables to buy to keep as extra?

Here's what I did on my A3000. Download Opera VPN > change to Germany > go to System Updates > Press Download and then Press Pause > Switch off Opera VPN > Press Resume Download. Now it's installing the update.

As long your phone grab the OTA update, turn off VPN. Download it as usual.

Similar for my A3010.
Download Opera VPN > change to Canada > go to System Updates > Press Download and then Press Pause > Switch off Opera VPN > Press Resume Download.

Note that when I switch on Opera VPN, the System Update immediately reflects with an indication on top left corner of screen that update is available.
