Hi,
I am looking to get the OP3T until I saw good reviews about huawei mate 9. What are the reasons to prefer either phone?

what are some potential issues either phone might have?
What might other phones be a good candidate.

I like a low maintence phone too.

Thanks a lot

mate 9:
1. better camera
2. better battery life
3. bigger screen
4. 2 years warranty which include 1 time FOC screen replacement if ur screen crack

OP3T:
1. Stock android OS experience
2. Easy to root and flash custom rom
3. better multitasking due to 6GB RAM

if u want low maintenance, i will recommend mate 9. just use as it is, dont need to flash here and there unless you are very adventurous to try out different kernel and ROM

I saw you saying you previously used a nexus 5.
You know it's technically impossible to brick your phone right?
Seeing you're brave enough to have done up everything on Day 1, i would assume you'd know this.

BTW TO THE PERSON WHO POSTED ABOUT SCREEN PROTECTORS.
Best be mentioning the Official OnePlus protector is rubbish.
