I was using my mimax 2 when I send my oneplus 3 for repair. After switching it back, it was quite difficult to adjust back.

I miss the big screen on mimax 2
The extreme battery on mimax 2,i could head out to work at 8 and back home at 8pm with battery dropping only 15%.
And The stereo speaker.

But the oneplus 3 is definitely smooth and almost lag free. But the battery drains pretty fast for mine. Thinking if I should upgrade to oneplus 5 next year or get a bigger display screen phone.

Mi max known for battery life, can't be compared. But camera wise, oneplus should be way better.

ya hahaha same leh now i bring both my 3 and Axon 7 out. my lenovo p2 still in service so dont have battery champ.

tried the mm2 but miui and the size is abit crazy for me and im 17 but look like old uncle when using. got ipad 2017 for YT and Play Books alr.

Camera my 3 is much better, more vibrant colours and bc on the 3 its a Sony sensor for selfie cam, the colours look v vibrant. Mi Max 2 cmi in low light, besides can buy op3 cheaper than mm2 now.

honestly i dont regret letting go of my mm2 hasta la vista miui makes me very happy. my mm2 slows down drastically when i open snapchat and fb tgt and only have 1.4gb ram free, that time havent even resume using instagram. i think if i use mm2 in my current use case will stutter quite abit.

every variant of the op3 should be able to get 4g in sg. have you checked your SIM & Network settings?

It seems like mine swaps from 4G to H+ and then back to 4G

btw are we able to get LTE? or is 4G and LTE the same?

No perfect full screen TGSP, choose either
1) Halo effect at the edge or
2) those with adhesives at the edge only, screen will have rainbow effects.

can use the oily liquid to fix halo effect. think its the best solution.

Yup, I got that TGSP and the liquid but never used as dunno will damage screen or not.

Did you use it? If yes how was it and need to apply periodically as in does the oil dry up and halo showed up after a while?

use it on op3 mi max 2 mi a1 and mate 9. doesnt damage the screen just make sure got alcohol wipes on hand when need to change tgsp. it doesn't harm the screen as its just like olive oil. very light one.

ahh thanks ! so far i see only the one plus official screen will be full adhesives but no idea where to get them anymore

OnePlus has released a beta version of OxygenOS 4, containing the latest and greatest in terms of Android versions. Let me introduce you to Android 8.0 "Oreo":

What's new?

Android Oreo introduces some visible and lots of under-the-hood improvements.

The most visible improvements include a reorganized Settings screen and finer control of your notifications. You can now choose which kinds of notifications you'd like to receive. These "channels" can cover anything - from your social network updates to breaking news notifications and weather alerts. Don't like to get breaking news notifications? Just turn off the "News" channel and you'll be enjoying pure radio silence.

Another new feature is the Autofill system. This allows other apps to auto-fill in usernames and passwords. This is extremely handy if you are using a password manager app. Now, it can auto-fill all saved passwords in your favorite app or web browser!

Also, thanks to under-the-hood improvements, your battery should last longer and your device should start up quicker. While these are minor additions, it's still great to have these perks.

Finally, Android "Oreo" could allow faster updates to future Android versions - thanks to Project Treble. That's especially great for Oxygen Updater users, as this will bring very fast updates to new Android versions to the app as well.

When will I get all of this?

Currently, there is a beta version of Android 8 for the OnePlus 3 and 3T only. It's very strange there's no such version for the OnePlus 5, as this is OnePlus' latest flagship device. But hey, it's still a beta. Unless you are a developer or an enthousiast, you shouldn't be running this on your main phone yet. And the latest rumours suggest a beta is coming for the OnePlus 5 very soon.

The estimate is that OnePlus will release the final version around the end of 2017 or in early 2018. While this timeframe is not guaranteed, it seems definetely feasible as there is already a fairly stable beta version available.

Which devices will get the update?

It seems that the OnePlus 3, 3T and 5 will be getting an upgrade to Android 8 "Oreo". Older OnePlus devices are not supported. That might sound sad, but remember that they didn't receive the previous update (Android 7.0 "Nougat") either.

So basically, every device which got Nougat will be getting Oreo.

I hope to have Oreo as soon as possible in this app, as it seems to be a really promising update. Until it is ready, enjoy some sweet bars of Nougat
