U think such a big company like Google never thought about security meh? They have obviously did their security impact assessment and deemed it still safe

guess you misunderstood or misread.
if you use samsung pay, they will prompt to ask unlock to pay.
on android pay, no secure feature, just a simple nfc turn on that all.

have a nice day. :o

Actually so far I use android pay on my N6P, I've always needed to unlock before the android pay is even triggered. I've read that some bank sites stated there is no need to even wake up the phone. However, I am not sure if a simple wake up is sufficient, since I always use the fp to wake up + unlock.

yeah.. but I just need to wake the screen up.. don't need to unlock it

Ok, that makes sense. I have never just waken up my phone, since I always use the FP to wake up + unlock, prefer not to touch the power button, hence the impression needed to unlock.

Y so troublesome need to go mrt station. Download ezlink app can top up using nfc...anytime anywhere

Simple, cos can't read normal ezlink cards, only can read co-brand ezlink card. If can't read, how to top up? If you can make it work with regular ezlink card, let me know.

In addition, not gonna pay the so-called convenience fee since I can top up using cc at my office building without "convenience fee".

Anyway, the intention was to try if android pay works with _all_ paywave terminals, which is not the case.
