Anyone has a full coverage tempered glass screen protector to recommend? Tried looking on Qoo10 and seems like most will have a rainbow bubble in the middle. If you managed to get a decent one, do share where you got it from? Price not an issue.

Was planning to stick with the pre-applied film one but it's accumulating a lot of scratches, which is quite annoying.

Nope. U can't get that.

Why?

because op3t screen is 2.5D. It's impossible to get a glass (flat) screen protector to fit perfectly without rainbow effect at the sides.

Ur best best for a "full" protection without rainbow effect is normal film SP.

As far as I know, the rainbow effect in the middle is not permanent, meaning that sometimes it's present but sometimes it's not. Like many have said, it's impossible to find one that does not create the rainbow effect in the middle. Some people have recommended the carkoci full-screen protector here which I'm also using now. Most of the time (~90%) and especially when I'm at home the rainbow effect is not there. Sometimes the rainbow effect appears, but I can live with that since it only appears occasionally. If you really insist on using a TGSP, just buy one and try it out and judge for yourself whether you like it or not.

Actually I think it's possible. Just no one wants to waste the time and money on it heheh...

Those without the colored borders don't have rainbow effect in centre but have unsticking borders. Those with the colored borders have have the rainbow effect, but the unsticking borders can't be seen. Why not one with both the qualities?

One simple compromise would be a TGSP that's smaller and only covers the screen portion and less of the edges. Wouldn't be effected by the unsticking edges - but would that satisfy those looking for more protection? Hmm.....

Kind of urgent for me and need to get the phone before thursday :)

Purchased the OP3T at $580+ for A3003 model. But it seems that most bros here got the China A3010.

Is the added benefit of 4G+ that pointless? Would like to gather some feedback.

Only if you are on ST and M1 I guess....but even last time I try on S7 the speeds on both of those networks never even hit the ceiling of LTE speed, much less LTE+.
Maybe when you stand right under the signal towers hehehe....

Just got my phone after 6 days. Seems like it came shipped with Android 7.0. That's the latest version right? Sorry for noob question since I've never used Android b4

U can upgrade to 7.1.1. Latest is Android O, most prob. version 8.0. Only available on Google devices for now, in beta.

latest is 7.1.1, rolling out in batches. So far Germany and Canada but you can update via
1) Using opera vpn and set your location to the above or
2) download the OTA to your phonr from OP or xda forums and upgrade via local upgrade.
