Dev support is the sole reason why I'm jumping from iP6 JB to OP5 without second thoughts. Even S8+ and the beautiful screen can't sway my decision.

Exactly! when I was on the OP1 and moved to Nexus 6p, I was surprised even the Nexus 6p's dev community wasn't as good as OP1. I'm sure with the Pixel, it's even worse since less people bought it.

OxygenOS is pretty good. Close to stock android but comes with more customisation.
Price is no longer cheap, but still cheaper than most 835 devices and it has more RAM than some. The only cheaper 835 phone is Mi6, but it is very small. As for the physical look, "iPhone 7 Plus at half the price" :s13:. No OIS for camera is a deal breaker for me so no OP5 for me right now.

Good EIS can match the OIS experience.. Pixel is a good example for it.. It can hold its own against the best there..

Hoping that oneplus has done enough to make the camera shine with a very good EIS.

OP5 will get an update for 4k EIS but until then, play around with other phones 1st. I'm more curious at how OP5 is priced in SG.

Camera is better than my iP6, so I'm satisfied. If I really want to take super nice photos I have my dslr so cam is not so important to me.

But it feels great! It's so thin and responsive and I really like it :D
