It's just a bezel less screen upgrade, pretty much everything else remains the same but they may remove the 3.5mm jack plus higher price so to op5 users, it's not really worth any upgrades

Hi everyone, I am new here and I have been trying to read comments on OnePlus 5 owners here on Wifi issues that I have read on US forums. I am thinking of getting one myself and that Wifi issue is holding me back. Any input on any of your valuable experiences will be greatly appreciated, thank you !

specifically what wifi issues you are talking about?

i don't have OP5 but from what i followed through the forum, the firmware updates seem to be addressing the wifi instability since several updates ago..

I had issues with 5ghz wifi until I changed channels. That was with 4.5.11.

I saw the news that Android 8 Oreo is coming soon. This was from the Oxygen Updater app. Is this true??

Wifi issues was at launch with SOME routers only, they issued a software update within a WEEK and it was fixed since then.

I can get full speed on my 5ghz on my OP5. Much faster than my Mi Mix before

Yes the Karbon Bumper case plus original oneplus tempered glass is really the best combo.

Drop the phone also zero issue. And it's REALLY slim
