Nowadays the terminals support all kinds of payment. Just launch app, touch and done.. simple as that.. don't hv to worry what pay what anymore. But there is a limit to how much you can pay iirc

Just on nfc, unlock your phone, put your camera near the terminal and your default card will be used to pay.

No need to open Android pay app

Actually, there is no need to unlock even. All you need to do is to wake the phone up. Security wise, I understand you can only use it three times this way. After that, you will have to unlock again before Android Pay will work.

This is no less secure than a regular PayWave VISA card which you also cannot unlock or wake up. If you are not concerned about a PayWave card, you shouldn't be about Android Pay as well.
