wa i finally got my bottle of Hanae Mori HM. Dont have to wait 2 weeks for it to be shipped from an online store.

Been going crazy over the scent after I finished my last bottle of sampler. The Hanae Mori is a mixture of everything sweet smelling. Very powdery, very feminine, and very long lasting, but marketed as a men's fragrance. Hasnt been easy to find, the closest smelling fragrance I can think of would be Givenchy Gentlemen Only.

Thanks to bro jason for the bottle of juice :D

Hi guys I'm a newbie joining in the perfume trend.

Currently owns:
MontBlanc Starwalker
Hugo Boss Night
Burberry Weekend

Looking to expand my collections to some of the ones I'm going to list below. Need some advise from the bros here on the price, longevity, views.

Versace Pour Homme
Chanel Allure Homme Sport
Cool Water Davidoff
Acqua di Gio

Hope to get some insights from the bros who might have tried them and recommend me one from the list or something similar if there are better alternatives out there I'll definitely try them out. Also the price point and projection/ longevity is what I'm looking out for as well.

Thanks Guys.

Not available here. Just get Caron pour un homme, smells 90% similar

Hi bro, personally tried all the perfumes u mentioned but to be honest longevity does not necessary comes from perfume but individual body chemistry with the perfume itself and how it blends with you especially after u perspire. For me, I won't be able to take any aqua range perfume. For e.g. ADG, bvlgari aqva toniq, CK eternity aqua, Fendi Aqua etc. Smells like rotten egg on my skin. So it really depends on your skin. Explore your own. Anyway here's my review on the perfumes u mentioned.

Versace Pour Homme
- Doesn't last long on me. A lil bit heavy on me.
Chanel Allure Homme Sport - Not worth buying. Doesn't last as long as I thought it would be.
Cool Water Davidoff - Evergreen perfume.. Worth buying for the size. i sell to customers Like S$47 for 125ml now. Why not? u can spray as much as u want. Blends well with cigarette and alcohol.
Acqua di Gio - I can't comment much as it doesn't blends well with me but it is indeed one of the most popular ones among men.

U wanna go for heavier perfume which may last longer for you... take CD Fahrenheit, Hermes, Burberry london (classic), Givenchy Gentleman Only, and many more. Explore your own scent bro.

*Source: I sell perfume. So I must know them.Cheers... =)

u might wanna go for guilty intense bro. stronger. my point of view for this perfume, I guess suits better at night and especially when u r out for party.not for daily usage cause it won't 'freshen' up during the hot sunny day. u tried it u should know what I mean.
* if u thinking of purchasing, do pm me. i carry this perfume. but do note biggest bottle is 90ml. cheers!

I'm currently using Versace pour homme and I kind of like it, about 4 sprays and last me the whole day.

I see. Thanks for the info. I have not tried the intense version though.

I think many executives are using this gucci guilty perfume if not wrong with that type of powdery smell.

I tried both intense and guilty , felt that guilty smells nicer IMO, so choose guilty..

Anyone tried John Varvatos before? Does it long last?

Any place I can get it at great value? Thanks!

And I am looking for Zegna Z too.

My favorite is John Varvatos Artisan. Using it as daily scent. Its a light scent, fresh and very citrus-y, even more than Jo Malone's Orange Blossom. Sadly, it isnt that long lasting, about 3-4 hours max for me, but I bought it for its scent anyway.

Can be found at most perfume stores in Singapore. Its not expensive in its class. I think $75-ish for a 125ml bottle. The bottle looks good too with the rattan!

HM is definitely a unisex scent. If someone were to do a blind test on me for the first time, I will definitely classify it as a feminine scent. The fact that HM markets it as a Men's scent gives me a great excuse to wear it :D.

I got a 90% full bottle of 100ml EDT from some bro over here. I also have some small 1ml spray samplers left. You want one? Can mail one to you if you are keen to try.

Edit: Some additional thoughts. HM is a very long lasting and powerful scent, in fact, the strongest scent that I've ever worn. It will last one whole day on you, no joke. Its not a scent for people who are into light fragrance, kind of esoteric. Its cheap online too, one bottle cost around USD $30 excluding shipping. Maybe that's why none of the perfume retailers in Singapore carry it, low profit margin maybe?

To summarise, sweet and attention-grabbing.

thanks for the review. seems like it would be something similar to the one I'm currently using, A Taste of Heaven by Killian which is extremely long lasting as well on me. Too bad.. I just couldn't find it anywhere else....

I will probably get myself a bottle online. Thanks for the offer :o
