Hi. I'm relatively new to this fragrance thing. Am keen on buying a couple of colognes but I'm still a student so budget is an issue you see. My query is;
Should I go to Mustafa or Jasina to get my colognes? Where is cheaper?

I rather you go Jasina which is more trustworthy compared to Mustafa.

where is this available in SG?

Last I checked, Tang's had it at their Guerlain corner

$350 for a 75ml bottle, pricey but will last a while because it smells its best lightly sprayed. And doesn't hurt than you can try first

If you have friends going london or paris, should be can get for less than 300, I did

I really like boss bottled (No. 6) but am looking for something with better projection and better longevity. Any recommendations? Doesn't have to smell exactly the same. Similar smelling alternative will do.

In my opinion, just like boss bottled which fades really quick (one of the fastest from my experience), mont blanc legend doesn't last long too. you might want to look at the intense version instead? longevity is supposedly better.

Hear alot people recommend mont blanc legend. Tried it myself and find that it doesnt last on my skin. Initial projection is good but fades away way too fast. If you dont like the smell of legend, you might want to try Mont Blanc Individuel which is less "citrus-sy", more sweet. Strong sillage and longevity according to reviews online.

If you choose to go back for Legend, stick with the original and avoid the other versions like intense or special edition etc. To me, all these special editions are just gimmicks to boost sales. And as many have mentioned previously, re-bottled formulas are often not as good as the originals.

Chanel allure homme for me

I also like this, but price tag too expensive to use it excessively. Which is why i always try to buy 1 bottle at DFS when i travel. Hell lot cheaper at DFS compared to buying it over the counter at Chanel Boutique.

jin tell u ba

I saw Jasina FB page, they seem to carry quite limited brands. Is it?

they have close to 200 perfume brands. two shop units.
location is High Street Centre, it's just after Funan IT mall.
going down to Boat Quay side.

Is Jasina authenic? What is the price range? Say Giorgio Armani Code

look for Wahida. she's a malay lady wearing a scarf.
depend on how you talk to her.
make sure got no other customer around you when you ask for discount.
the more times you go, the bigger the discounts.

jasina
mustafa
dollars and scents
perfume les paris
randomly recalling atop my head...
which place cheapest ah?

Maybe its just me but when i tested out the MB Legend at Dollars and Scents, after spraying 5-6 times on my left arm the smell was still very faint.

my perfume journey started in 2003. i bought from SASA for 2 years.
then i move onto buying from BHG for about 2 years.
then for 3 years i bought from Dollars and Scents Peninsula.
waste my money. haiz. regret.
then i buy from mustafa for about a year.
then the past 3 years I buying from Jasina.
very happy. product good. price discounts also very good.

eh, i dropped by jasina, i saw the prices i got shocked. like so much more expensive? i consider mustafa reliable. sth i bought in mustafa for 65sgd costs 105sgd in jasina. the same applies to about, all other perfumes.
unless you're telling me all the price tags in jasina are not sgd... :s22:
or am i not doing anything right...? :(

heard that intense version is not really suitable for daily

i also tried bottled night, i feel that it is too musky for daily use

thanks for the recommendation, will try Mont Blanc Individuel

i'm looking at something sweet for daily use with moderate (arms length) sillage n long lasting (6-12 hrs) longevity

My intense lasted like a few short hours on me only. I feel that it doesn't give off that nice smell when I pass by people, I think people won't even notice I wore a perfume except me. Reading your comments, I can conclude that this problem does not happened to me only.

How is the longevity of the original legend? Also heard about A&F fierce, have you got any review on it?

Thank you.

Personally, i wont say original Legend is super lasting on me. The initial smell is strong but then fades away really fast. A faint, lingering smell will stay for 5-6 hours. But i do perspire alot so maybe this has an effect on the longevity of fragrance applied on my skin. I tested intense and special edition(not sure what year) before and find that the variation of smell is just ever so slight but still prefer original Legend.

Read some reviews that say A&F Fierce is very similar to Legend, more suited for younger people compared to Legend. They say this smell is what you get when you enter A&F retail store so maybe you want to head down to the A&F outlet at orchard rd if you want to get a smell:s13:. But then the price for Fierce is not cheap, more than twice of what Legend costs. Jasina quoted me $112 for Fierce, if i remembered correctly.
