Swiss Army Fragrances

Anyone got any experience with them? Seems like good value and good performance in hot weather. Have to try it out somewhere.

There is the Classic, Forest, Unlimited, Unlimited Energy and Snowpower.

any reviews?

Where to get this?

It's green and herbal, like some sort of mint tea with decent longevity, quite unique in it's own way, different from typical Italian fragrances. I got it from a shop in Italy, it was about €100.

This seems to be a cheapie

Some brands have this dirt cheap series of cologne/bodymist along with their expensive perfumes, spoil their own image only.

Example.

The 1902 from Berdoues are like $15 each for 100ml, maybe last for 20mins...

Whereas Grands Crus from Berdoues as well are $137.

But the cheapie association is there, you won't thinking highly of the brand..

Ah I didn't scroll down the fragrantica page. same brand. Yea thats true. I rather go designer route than a company like this. They d be better off producing for designers than putting a 30 dollar perfume under the same brand as a 100+ perfume. Dior Dolce etc have prive lines. But they're in standalone or prominent fragrance shops.

Actually that $470 perfume from Jardin de France did smell quite good, just that I didn't like the shop layout/the sales assistant in Millenia Walk. They tried too hard by talking non stop without listening, attempted to smoke me with a few different spray cards then expect me to like one of them. I told them upfront I want to look first, then decide which one I want to try, but they just kept spamming... Escentials is much better in that sense, or maybe I shop there so often they know my preference.

Our perception is easily distracted by packaging, branding and pricing. My collection consists of clinical to drugstore to tourist gift shop to designer to exclusive to niche to luxury to even middle eastern clone perfumes and perfume oils, prices can range from $6 to $800 for a bottle, so long it smells good or unique.

I came across quite a number expensive perfumes not worth their buck as compared to a cheaper "clones". Fine example is Chanel Sycomore vs Lalique Encre Noire, that subtle difference is not worth that 5x price premium. Lalique is not some run-of-the-mill brand either, not to mention Sycomore is even worse now after Chanel replaced all the Exclusifs EDTs to EDPs.

Another is Creed Aventus vs Armaf Club de Nuit Intense vs Reyane Tradition Insurrection 2 Pure. But of course this is subjective, so long buyers are happy with their purchase. :D

One example i can point out is Mugler Cologne vs Creed Orginal Vetiver. They smell totally identical to me and Mugler Cologne is wayyyyy cheaper..

Escentials is a great place to try fragrances. Whenever i go there, they jus take leave me alone and let me try.
