But really quite like this scent, this is my 2nd bottle already.

Cause I see Tampines and Shaw Isetan after he mentioned, albeit 1-2 weeks later, no such discount.

hi guys, any nice and long lasting perfume to intro? my past few perfumes i always felt after i sprayed it on and leave house and after smoking i can no longer smell any of the perfume already hahaha. it's like not using any perfume at all.

might be going overseas soon so looking for some recommendations to buy at the DFS in airport. thanks guys!

Its really hard to recommend because a perfumes performance differ from a persons skin. Not to mention most good performing perfumes are darker/rich scents which are better in colder weather.

But having said that, you can try out the following which has good longevity on me and IMO suits hot weather:

Armaf CDNIM
Dior Sauvage
Acqua di Gio Profumo
Paco Robanne Invictus Aqua

Its really hard to recommend because a perfumes performance differ from a persons skin. Not to mention most good performing perfumes are darker/rich scents which are better in colder weather.

But having said that, you can try out the following which has good longevity on me and IMO suits hot weather:

Armaf CDNIM
Dior Sauvage
Acqua di Gio Profumo
Paco Robanne Invictus Aqua

Just curious for Dior Sauvage and AdG Profumo, any reputable online stores (locally or intl) selling at a good price?

u can try Burberry Brit Rhythm, bought one to tryout. almost can last more than 1/2 a day

+1 to this tip, this is how I get by with my lesser performing scents that I really love.

For day time hot weather my go to are these: (with out longevity as a criteria, only scent)

JPG Popeye Eau Fraiche
Terre D'Hermes Tres Fraiche
Armaf Tres Nuit
Atelier Bergamote Soleil

Maybe try frags with some tobacco note to make it blend more or a fresher frag ie coolwater

shame invictus aqua was a limited edition. nice one for super hot weather.

I was with two friends the other day at E.
1 girl, 1 guy.
The girl bought a MFK $355, the guy thinks it's overpriced despite how nice it is.
He wouldn't spend beyond a $100 for a fragrance.
Though he can well afford the $355 but would he rather spend on 3/4 cheaper fragrances at lucky plaza... thoughts?

I put down $400+ when Escentials brought in Le Labo Gaiac 10 at Paragon and that's pretty much a high water mark for me.
I've a weakness for limited editions though bargain hunting for mass market fragrances is a thrill too.

if you're getting something special i think it's worth it.
mfk baccarat rouge 540 is great and worth it.

To me $200 is the max I can go for perfumes.
Family expenditure and savings comes first.

$100-$200 plus is the max I can go for fragrances. I wouldn't consider anything above $250.

My craziest purchase was Puredistance at $800+, but it's a Extrait Parfum in 100ml no less, one spray will last 2 days. The smell is unique unlike any other, no cheaper alternative comes close despite what fragrantica user says.

But at the same time, I also shop around for the occasional mass market fragrances which can be nice despite the price tag.
